SMART ARSE WOMBAT

The smallest in the Wombat series, this board is a step down from the ‘Tight Arse’ and has a swallow tail for extra maneouverability. designed with performance surfing in mind, this board loves to be surfed hard, from the tail. As with all the Wombat’s, the ‘Smart Arse’ is an excellent paddler and is a great alternative on any given day.

TIGHT ARSE WOMBAT

The middle child of the Wombat series. When Hutcho and Beau first came up with this design, they were after something just a little smaller in volume than the standard ‘Fat Arse’. Not wanting to compromise paddling ability and floatation on the wave, the nose and tail were pulled in slightly and the thickness cut out a little. Deeper double concave in the bottom and smaller fins all added up for this design to be one of Beau’s favourite boards. Whether ridden in 1’ slop or 6’ perfection, the ‘Tight Arse’ handles it all, and will have you frothing on your next surf.

FAT ARSE WOMBAT

The original and still our best selling design. The Fat Arse knows no boundaries, whether your just starting out or are a seasoned surfer looking for that one board to ride in absolutely everything. Surfed hard from the tail, or ridden smooth from the mid section back, the ‘Fat Arse’ glides on any wave, no matter how fat or slow. Perfect for guys/girls looking to step down off a longboard or for the average surfer just looking for a board that is truely going to surf in ANY types of waves.

BEAU COMP

Available in 2 different shapes, one with a little more rocker for a more performance based approach, or one a little flatter for those who like to combine both the old with the new.

These 2 designs are both replicas of the boards which Beau won his 2 World Championships on. Available lightweight or standard, thicker or a bit thinner, we can make the Beau Comp to suit what you need. A real all-rounder, there has been nothing but praise for this epic design.

BEAU LOG

The king of more performance based logs. Slight tucked under edge in the tail and softer forgiving rails from the mid section up, this board has the best of both worlds. Single fin wonder, the Beau Log will handle any size surf, whether ankle slappers or overhead walls. You don’t have to be from the 60’s to surf this epic design. If you want an “in-between-er” from your more traditional board and your high performance board, then this one is for you!

The perfect mix of both a shortboard and a mini-mal, this hybrid will have you surfing rings around fellow surfers in a variety of waves. Single to double concave and a thruster set-up, this board is perfect for someone who wants a high performance board, but isn’t quite looking to step down to a wafer-thin performance shortboard.

Slightly pulled-in nose, this board is a carver’s dream. Able to paddle on nice and early, with a thruster set-up and a single to double concave, the rider will be able to shred this  board all the way to the beach with ease. Tolhurst’s performance model. Available with either a squash tail or a round pintail, this board is tried and tested by many great surfers in competitions and by ‘weekend warriors’ all over Australia. Concave in the nose running into a flat middle and ending with a deep double concave through the fins. This board is perfect for someone looking for a responsive and high performance longboard in their quiver.

A more streamlined 10 footer than usual. This board has a 16” nose and a 13” tail, making it perfect for the rider who wants a longer board that will not sacrifice speed on waves of consequence. With a single fin and 1/2” cedar stringer, this board is a purist’s dream. Feels great under the arm and even better screaming down the face.

Similar to Tolhurst’s all-rounder, this is Paul’s version of a board for everyday waves. A wider, softer nose, with a neutral (not too wide, not too narrow) squash tail, this board will surf ankle high waves on the point, and also beach breaks with a bit of punch. Concave under the nose, and also through the fins, this board has all the things that will make it an easy board to ride for any surfer.
